Who we are

Gorilla Garden Rooms operates this website and your garden room account. Contact darren@gorillagardenrooms.com with privacy questions or requests.

Information we collect

When you create an account, we collect your name and email address and use a secure sign-in service to manage your credentials. If you choose Google or Lovable sign-in, that provider supplies the account information needed to sign you in.

We store designs you choose to save, their names and specifications, and project records including quotations, invoices and warranty certificates. Enquiries may include your phone number, postcode, notes and an optional garden photograph. We also process technical information needed to maintain website security.

Why we use your information

We use this information to provide your account, prepare and fulfil your garden room order, manage installation and warranty support, respond to enquiries, and send expected account or project notifications. This includes an email when a document is added to your account. These messages are not marketing.

Our legal bases include taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing a contract, complying with legal obligations and legitimate interests in providing a secure service and administering our business. Where consent is required, it is requested separately.

Who can access your project

Your account gives you access to your saved designs and quotations. Invoices become available after conversion to a sale; warranty certificates become available after the build is marked complete.

The owner manages project records and documents. Assigned installation staff can access project designs and internal technical drawings, but not customer quotations, invoices or warranty documents. Technical drawings are not available to customers. Enquiry photographs and internal drawings are kept in private storage.

We use Lovable Cloud and its service providers for hosting, account security, private file storage and project emails. Professional advisers or authorities may receive information where necessary for legal obligations or claims. We do not sell your personal information.

Storage and international processing

Information is protected using access controls and encrypted connections. Service providers may process information outside the UK. Where international transfers occur, applicable legal safeguards are required. No online service can guarantee absolute security; please protect your account credentials.

Retention

We keep account and project information only as long as needed to provide the service, administer orders and warranties, comply with accounting or other legal requirements, and handle claims. Ask us to review or delete an unused account. Records required for legal or warranty purposes may need to be retained.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your information, object to certain processing, and request portability. You may withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Contact darren@gorillagardenrooms.com; we may ask for proportionate identity verification. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Account emails

Emails about your account and project are sent following relevant actions or events, such as a document upload. Project emails include a managed unsubscribe option. Unsubscribing from project emails does not prevent sign-in or password-reset emails, and documents remain available in your account.

Cookies and browser storage

Necessary cookies or browser storage may keep you signed in and support website security. Clearing or blocking them may sign you out or prevent account features from working. Manage stored information through your browser settings. Non-essential cookies, if introduced, require the appropriate separate choice.

Third-party links and updates

Linked websites have their own privacy policies. We may update this policy when the service changes; the current version is published here.
